The powerful singer-songwriter’s fourth studio album is coming and will be released on November 19. social media Announcing the date, the 33-year-old said she was “ready to finally release this album.”
She described the process of creating the album – which has been in the works for three years now – as “a labyrinth of utter chaos and turmoil!” in an emotional tribute to the project on Instagram and Twitter.
“I learned a lot of truths at home about myself along the way,” she continued. “I lost many layers, but I also wrapped myself in new ones. I discovered some really useful and healthy mindsets to lead, and I feel like I finally got my feelings back. to say that I ‘I have never felt so peaceful in my life.’
The multi-Grammy-winning artist also said 30 was his “roll or die through the most eventful time of my life”. She compared the album to a friend who was always there for her – ready with a bottle of wine, magazines, masks and bath salts.
“And then this friend who, no matter what, came to see me even though I had stopped seeing them because I had become so consumed with my own grief. Since then I have rebuilt my home and my heart. with care and that the album tells it. “
Adele previously opened up about the intense creative process behind 30. In historical double coverage with the US and UK versions of Vogue, she explained how her divorce from Simon Konecki impacted the personal details of the project. “It’s sensitive to me, this record, just how much I love it. I always say that 21 no longer belongs to me. Everyone took it so much to their hearts. I’m not letting go of this one. This is my album. I want to share myself with everyone, but I don’t think I’ll ever let this one go. “
She also said she hopes her album will allow her son, Angelo, 8, to eventually understand the reasoning behind the divorce. “I feel like this album is self-destruct,” Adele told British Vogue, “then self-reflection, then kind of self-redemption. But I feel ready. I really want people to hear my side of the story this time. “
