Age Of Calamity Expansion Pass Wave 1 available now
Nintendo just removed Wave 1 from the expansion pass for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, bringing the Pulse of the Ancients DLC to players.
Nintendo has just released wave 1 of the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion pass, which includes the Pulse of the Ancients DLC content. For those who pre-ordered the Expansion Pass, this includes a new costume and weapon for Link, old Prototype gear, and an Old Prototype Shortsword. The Pass Wave 1 expansion adds an all new playable character, new challenges in the Old Royal Lab, new weapon types and styles of action, as well as new enemies that are difficult for players to defeat.
The first half of the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity The expansion pass was originally slated for release in June and the exact date was revealed during Nintendo Direct. Wave 2 is still slated for a November 2021 release date, but the exact date is unknown. Nintendo recently announced the inner workings of the DLC during Nintendo’s E3 2021 Direct, when it unveiled the playable Battle-Tested Guardian. It was the most exciting reveal in the DLC, especially since the Guardian would be the only new character added to the game in June, despite having an exhaustive list of possibilities. Now fans will finally have the chance to try it out.

According to Nintendo of America, the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity The Expansion Pass DLC is here, with new characters, stages, and more for players to explore. The announcement was posted on Twitter and fans can now purchase or download the pass if they pre-ordered it. The first wave of the DLC features the location of the Royal Ancient Tech Lab, complete with new challenges, unlockable weapons, and useful new features. The update also includes the Moblin Bomb Launcher, a Giant Chuchu, and others that players can test their might against.
Although there is a lack of new Zelda Expansion Pass characters, apart from the Battle-tested Guardian, the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass Wave 1 is packed with epic gameplay opportunities. Link can now be equipped with a light beam and Zelda can hitchhike on the new Master Cycle. Both will likely help the player overcome difficult challenges, such as the new enemies or the apocalyptic difficulty level added to the game.
Nintendo has certainly made it clear that if Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a little different from the beloved Zelda game mechanics, the company will continue to flesh out and develop them, adding many new reasons to play. As for Wave 2, the Guardian of Remembrance DLC pack, there is still a lot to learn. The expanded roster could be a long list or a short one, like Wave 1. However, there will be new stages, combat skills, and character vignettes, so it’s sure to be filled with new content.
