Apex Legends developers respond to stuttering errors after Genesis event update

While Apex Legends players are annoyed by many stuttering issues following the Genesis Collection event update, Respawn responded by saying that they are looking to fix them.
After weeks of waiting, Respawn finally ditched a collectible event for Apex Legends: Legacy with the Genesis event. The new update brings back the classic Kings Canyon map alongside a slew of new skins, a Revenant heirloom, as well as some legendary changes.
As players quickly took to munching on the new update, they faced a plethora of issues – the most important of which was that the battle royale drags and stutters throughout matches no matter if you’re fighting. or switch to a new position. .
Many fans have complained about these issues, calling on Respawn to sort things out as soon as possible, especially as it goes mainstream.

Well, the developers finally responded, noting that this is a difficult problem to solve given that it is quite difficult to reproduce on their end.

Exgeniar added that Respawn is trying to find the root cause of the problem, but it’s proving tricky because they “want to know how to get it to hang on on demand.”

The developer also noted that there had been a few reports of PCs with a high frame rate suffering from the issue, and capping the frame rate to a lower number might be a temporary fix.
As Respawn has yet to replicate it, a fix may still be a long way off. However, we’ll just have to wait and see.
