It has been a week since the autopsy was released into the death of the 14-year-old who fell from an amusement ride at ICON Park. On Monday, Tire Sampson’s father and his lawyers will be outside the ICON Park ride where the teenager was killed. They say the owner and maker of the Free Fall are totally responsible for his death. The autopsy report came out last week and, among other things, revealed the 14-year-old weighed over 380 pounds. That’s almost 100 pounds over the recommended weight limit for the freefall ride. He also revealed that Sampson died of blunt force trauma from falling about halfway through the 430-foot ride at ICON Park. He had numerous injuries all over his body, including a broken jaw, leg, arm and ribs. But the medical examiner also described the manner of death as an accident. Lawyers for Tyr’s family are suing the ride owner and ICON Park. They say his death was due to negligence, he shouldn’t have been allowed in, he was obviously too big and the operators manually set the safety sensor on the seat so he could stand. adapt to it. These lawyers, along with Tyre’s father, will be at ICON Park today to give us their reaction to the autopsy. It will be at 11:30 this morning. WESH 2 will stream above.
