‘FEAR’ screening for the benefit of Panida

SANDPOINT — Set in a dystopian world, “FEAR” is an action thriller that follows a young family as they struggle to survive in the harsh environment of a Pacific Northwest winter during a deadly pandemic. , as well as the threat of zombies and bandits threatening their lives and stealing their supplies.
“FEAR” was written by Jason Tobias, who stars in the film he co-directed with Geoff Reisner. Produced by Action Figure Entertainment, the film was shot by Sandpoint-based cinematographer Jimmy Matlosz.
“We made the film on a shoestring budget, under difficult conditions, and pulled it off without a hitch,” Matlosz said. There are many good stories from the production that I like to share. As a newly elected member of the Panida Board of Directors, I “I am thrilled to be able to present this first screening at Sandpoint to benefit the historic theater. This will be the first theatrical screening of the film in the United States”
“FEAR – Forget Everything And Run” will be screened on Saturday, February 5 at the Panida Theater. The screening starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10, available online or at the door the night of the screening.
Matlosz will be on hand for a Q&A session about the making of the film, and during a meet and greet session to discuss TIFC’s future vision.
Matlosz founded The Idaho Film Company in 2020 and has written several screenplays slated for production in northern Idaho beginning this fall.
