Gabby Petito shared Astroworld’s Instagram post saying “I wish you were here” before a deadly journey with Brian Laundrie
GABBY Petito chillingly shared an Instagram post from Astroworld with the caption âI wish you were hereâ ahead of his deadly journey with Brian Laundrie.
The 22-year-old shared a photo of herself posing in a gray hoodie in a car alongside the hashtag â#Astroworldâ in the same year the concert first took place.
Internet sleuths suggested Gabby could have eerily predicted Travis Scott’s music festival disaster years before his doomed road trip with Laundrie.
This is the latest online conspiracy theory involving Astroworld, after videos on social media claimed that what had happened was in fact a large-scale “satanic blood sacrifice”.
During the festival on November 5 this year, 10 people died and hundreds were injured while Travis was performing.
Gabby shared the post on Instagram on November 8, 2018, as Scott launched Astroworld to “make his childhood dream come true.”
He has often spoken of his connection to the former Six Flags AstroWorld theme park, located in his hometown of Houston, Texas.
Scott previously said of the amusement park: “When they took away Astroworld, they took away a piece of my heart.”
He then inspired his third studio album and led to the creation of his festival of the same name.
Hundreds of viewers have now filed lawsuits after being injured in a crowd crush on her featured show this year.
Now, social media users are wondering if Gabby anticipated the tragedy before her death in August 2021 – just three months before the carnage at Astroworld.
Her stepfather paid a moving Thanksgiving tribute to the late travel vlogger as well as her mother, who died months apart.
Jim Schmidt wrote in a tweet: âI went to visit Mom today. Our first Thanksgiving without her, Grandma and Gabby.
“I miss you all very much. I know you all look after us together. Life is truly a gift and love every minute of it. Be present every moment with your family and live life to the fullest.”
Schmidt’s Twitter post follows Gabby’s mother’s first public statement following Brian Laundrie’s autopsy results saying to be “grateful for every moment.”
LEGAL CONSEQUENCES OF LAUNDRY
Before candid statements, Laundrie’s cause of death was ruled suicide by coroners on November 23 – weeks after her remains were found in the Florida wilderness.
He died from a single gunshot wound to the head, according to Laundrie family lawyer Steven Bertolino.
Laundrie’s parents could now face charges of tampering with evidence after it emerged that a gun had gone missing from their home – after turning all their guns over to the FBI.
Lawyer for the Laundrie family has revealed that they knew the gun went missing from their home as their son fled to a Florida nature park during the investigation into Gabby’s disappearance.
Lawyer Steve Bertolino said the information had not been publicly disclosed because he and law enforcement agreed it was “better that this information not be public.”
âImagine, with the wacky atmosphere back then, if the public thought Brian had a gun,â he said.
“I can’t say why [police] didn’t reveal the information, but we talked about it at the time and I think they felt like me. “
It has not been confirmed if the missing weapon is the one Laundrie used to kill himself.
Retired FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer said the couple could “have possible guilt under 18 USC 3, which is incidental after the fact, and possibly 18 USC 1519, which is obstruction in terms of if they falsified evidence after this crime was committed “.
