Kick time set for Oklahoma, Kansas road trip

The kick-off time for Oklahoma’s first road trip of the season has been set.
The No.4-seeded Sooners and No.25 Kansas State Wildcats will officially kick off at 2:30 p.m. and the game will air on Fox Sports.
Lincoln riley is looking for his first victory over Chris Klieman since the Manhattan head coach replaced the legendary Bill Synder, as the Wildcats upset Oklahoma two years on the rebound.
The trip to Bill Synder Family Stadium is not only the OU’s first road game of the season, but it marks the first visit to a Big 12 venue since the Sooners announced they would be leaving the conference at the sides of the Texas Longhorns and would head to the SEC.
Despite their loss on their last trip to Manhattan, the Sooners have historically enjoyed great success in Kansas State Homeland.
Prior to the 2019 upheaval, Oklahoma hadn’t lost to the Wildcats since 1996, when it wasn’t at the time. The 16-ranked Kansas State survived a 28-point rally against the Sooners in the second half, hanging on to a 42-35 victory.
This year’s Kansas State team is 3-0, scoring victories over Stanford, southern Illinois and Nevada.
Unfortunately for the Wildcats, injury status is still unknown for the quarterback Skylar thompson, who has put in excellent performances in consecutive years against the Sooners.
Thompson had to be helped off the field after injuring his right knee in KSU’s win over southern Illinois, but Klieman simply said the QB would be out “indefinitely” meaning Thompson could be back this season.
Before returning home to face OU, Kansas State first travels to Stillwater to face the undefeated Oklahoma State Cowboys this weekend.
