It’s time to get hit by the moon! Grab your gang and join us for a 90-minute train ride in Virginia City this Friday and Saturday, September 9 and 10, September Harvest Moon evenings.
You will embark on a twilight journey through historic mining sites and a backdrop of the majestic Sierra Mountains to American Flat. Enjoy live music, a bit of Comstock history, and possible sightings of wild horses and other wildlife. Rides start at 5:30 p.m.
Savor delicious appetizers and drinks accompanied by live music provided by Kat Heart and Jenna Talbott. Train tickets include two drinks (your choice of white/red wine or light/dark beer, the Cross or root beer), as well as delicious appetizers.
On the same weekend, Virginia City celebrates the 63rd International Camel and Ostrich Races. So make it the perfect day, catch the races and join Kat and Jenna on a magical train ride to celebrate the rising of the full harvest moon.
