Every Lucid Air is equipped with “Dream Drive”, a driver assistance program that includes 32 sensors and a high resolution LIDAR using laser beams to measure distances to objects.
âIt’s a luxury vehicle, so it has heated and ventilated seats, but also massage functions in the lower cushion and the rear part of the seats,â said Edson. “It has a premium sound system, surreal sound we call it, which uses the Dolby Atmos setting which gives you rich depth of sound.”
Behind the car, visitors can approach the power unit, which includes the motor, inverter and transmission, the Wunderbox charging system and a Lucid Air battery.

While this is the first Arizona-based showcase, it isn’t the first time the electric vehicle maker has visited Grand Canyon state. The company has built its massive 1 million square foot lithium-ion battery production plant at Casa Grande, between Phoenix and Tucson.
âThe opening of our first studio in Arizona, just an hour from where the Lucid Air will begin rolling off the Casa Grande assembly line this year, is a significant milestone,â Edson said in the press release. âThis opening reinforces the company’s commitment to the region, and is in direct response to the warm welcome and the high level of interest shown both in our manufacturing operations and in the products we market.
